Use Fibo with Comfy Router

Quick start

Create a key in your Comfy workspace and export it as COMFY_API_KEY. The Python and TypeScript snippets use the Comfy SDKs (pip install comfy-sdk, npm install @comfyorg/sdk); the cURL snippet is the same call over raw HTTP.

Determines how closely the generated image should adhere to the instruction.

Range: 3 to 5

Format: float

images · string[] · required

The source image to be edited. Publicly available URL or Base64-encoded. Accepted formats JPEG, JPG, PNG, WEBP. Must contain exactly one item.

instruction · string

Text-based edit instruction (e.g., “make the sky blue”, “add a cat”). Either instruction or structured_instruction must be provided.

ip_signal · boolean · default: "false"

If true, returns a warning for potential IP content in the instruction.

mask · string

Optional mask image URL or Base64-encoded. Black areas will be preserved, white areas will be edited.

model_version · string

The version of the model to use. Comfy Router supplies this from the {model} path segment, so omit it there; the value Bria runs is FIBO, which the v1 route also defaults to when the field is absent. Not constrained to an enum on this half: Router writes the value in after the caller’s body has been validated.

negative_prompt · string

A text prompt specifying concepts, styles, or objects to exclude from the edited image.

prompt_content_moderation · boolean · default: "true"

If true, returns 422 on instruction moderation failure.

seed · integer

Seed for deterministic generation. If omitted, a random seed is used.

steps_num · integer · default: "50"

Number of diffusion steps.

Range: 20 to 50

structured_instruction · string

A string containing the structured edit instruction in JSON format. Use this instead of instruction for precise, programmatic control.

visual_input_content_moderation · boolean · default: "true"

If true, returns 422 on images or mask moderation failure.

visual_output_content_moderation · boolean · default: "true"

If true, returns 422 on visual output moderation failure.

Before you ship

The SDKs create an Idempotency-Key and reuse it for automatic retries. For manual retries, reuse the original key. Router can hold the connection for up to 10 minutes.

When a request fails, Router sends an X-Comfy-Error-Type response header explaining why. A 422 means Router rejected the input before calling the provider. Download generated assets promptly because result URLs can expire.
